X Follower Remover
What it does
X Follower Remover helps you clean up your follower list on X (x.com). Load a CSV of usernames and the extension visits each profile while you are logged in, then removes them as followers — with optional unfollow.
- Load a CSV queue (from X Cleaner or any username list)
- Manual mode (press → to advance) or full automation
- Pause, resume, and pick up exactly where you left off after restarting Chrome
- Configurable delay + jitter between actions
- Live remaining count and activity log
- Uses your normal logged-in browser session — no passwords or API keys

Add to Chrome Chrome Web Store — automatic updates
Before you start
- Chrome Safe Browsing warning: After clicking “Add to Chrome”, you may see a message that “This extension is not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing”. This is completely normal for brand new developers on the Chrome Web Store. Google requires a 90-day history before a developer’s extensions are fully trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing. The extension is safe — it’s the same code we’ve been using and testing.
- Use the web version of X at x.com — not the mobile app.
- You must be logged into the account whose followers you want to remove.
- Removals are real and irreversible through this tool.
- Start with a small test batch and delays of 20+ seconds. X may rate-limit aggressive automation.
Installation
- Click the Add to Chrome button above.
- Confirm the installation in the popup.
- Pin the extension (puzzle icon in the toolbar) for easy access.
The store version updates automatically.

Resume in Panel — shown when you have users left in the queue. Restores saved settings and continues automatically if a session was running.
After closing Chrome
Your queue and settings are saved. Reopen Chrome, log into X, click the extension icon, then Resume in Panel (or Open Control Panel) and Start / Resume if paused.
Troubleshooting
- Extension not appearing — after adding from the store, click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin it.

- No X account detected — open x.com while logged in, then click Claim / Use open X tab.
- Nothing happens — load a CSV first.
- Paused after 10 unfollows/hour — safety limit when Unfollow is enabled; wait or confirm when prompted.
