Rockledge Wins FL LLB Championship

Southern Region Senior Tournament

VSLL and District 2 are proud to be the hosts of the 2009 Senior Regional Baseball Tournament beginning August 7. Teams and families from all other the Southern US will be staying on the Space Coast for this event.

State Tournament Info

Congrats to West Melbourne who made it to the State Semi Finals, and to our neighbor District 22 chanp Rockledge, who won the Florida State LLB Title Monday. Also congrats to Palm Bay East Seniors who finished 4th in the State Tournament in Niceville.

Action From Saturday plus more Rain

The second games today were suspended. Play will resume tomorrow(Sunday) at the same time that they were scheduled to start on Saturday( ie: 10/11 Baseball will resume at 12:30pm). The Championship games will follow. We will give the teams enough time to rest before playing again.

River Horning of South Beaches hits the first pitch of the Major game against West Melbourne over the fence.

Saturday At Flutie

William Stewart is congratulated by his South Beaches 10-11 teammates after his solo homerun against Beachside Saturday at Flutie. Beachside went on to win 3-1. In the other 10-11 game, West Melbourne defeated Eau Gallie Gold 24-3. (more).
